THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based in the heart of Derbyshire, that have been providing IT solutions for over 40 years. As part of their strategic growth plans, they are now looking to add an experienced Service Desk Manager to lead the existing team.
As the Service Desk Manager, you will play a key role in driving the business forward by overseeing and managing the existing Service Delivery team, providing mentorship and guidance, alongside liaising closely with clients to ensure optimum serviceis delivered.
This position requires a candidate with strong leadership and management skills eager to display their existingskills, but also someone who wishes to remain hands on and technical within their role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead and mentor the Service Delivery Team
* Create, manage, and improve team KPIs and performance metrics
* Support the team and clients with any issues that arise
* Continuously monitor and manage internal and external company SLA's
* Manage client expectations to ensure that the team can deliver on what is promised
* Manage the well-being of the team by providing regular 1:1 reviews and roadmaps for all individual members of the Team
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate for the Service Desk Manager role will have the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience of management of an IT Service Team or Senior IT role
* Essential Experience using a Ticketing system / RMM Tool and PSA software
* Knowledge of IT Applications, Software& Hardware
* Experience and knowledge of working with the Microsoft 365 Platform
