Service DeskManager - Ipswich - IT Managed Services
£50,000-60,000 + benefits + Split between office and home working.
I'm looking for aService Desk Manager for a leading technology business in Ipswich. The role will be responsible for managing all activities in respect of the Help Centre operations. To ensure that the customer's satisfaction and SLA are maintained to the highest level.
You will be the main point of contact for incidents, requests and changes related to the Service Desk
This will be overseeing alarge service desk and working in an ITIL environment - ideal candidate will have experience of a similar role.

Location

Ideally a candidate who is commutable from Ipswich, 1 hour and 15 minutes. My clients HQ is based in Ipswich, however, there maybe some travel to their London office on the odd occasion.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing the service desk
* Budgetarycost control
* Build and develop capabilities of the Help Centre Management team, both technical and non-technical
* Mentorand develop skills within this group as necessary.
* KPI's productivity performance and targets effectively manage individualand team performance; build in regular reviews with team member taking necessary steps to improve overall team performance.
*SLA Management
* Personnel / Staff performance and headcount forecasting and recruitment
* Shift working patterns and controls
* Escalations and complaints

Technical Requirements

* 3+ years' experience managing a service desk / helpdesk in atechnology environment - ideally with an MSP background
* Detailed working knowledge and experience in the following:

* Helpdesk systems; o Server & Desktop Management
* Microsoft Operating Systems (Desktop and Server) including Active Directory
* Controlling and management of IT Assets (including software & hardware)
* Microsoft application products includingO365

Salary on offer is £50K-£60k + bonus + benefits
