Description:
On behalf of a large Professional Services organisation, I am recruiting a number of Service Integration Engineers to join a new Service Integration team. Reporting into the Service Operations Integration Manager, you will be responsible for all technical activity relating to the successful on-boarding of new customers. You will be provided with all the appropriate equipment and training needed, in order to carry out your role successfully.
This role is initially Remote, to comply with government guidelines.
This role sits inside IR35.
What will you be doing?
* You will be responsible for carrying out a number of tasks, such as:-
1 Workshops, design, and ratification
2 VPN implementation and troubleshooting
3 Appliances setup, excluding Xia, and troubleshooting
4 Network device configuration, and internal routing/firewall changes
5 Xia setup, troubleshooting and reports
6 Windows and Applications pre-reqs, troubleshooting
7 Cloud configuration
8 Health Checks
* Work collaboratively with current suppliers/internal support teams, involving agreement, planning, time-lines and expectation of deliverables
* Ensuring activities are delivered within the agreed SLA
* Providing an effective handover to Service Operations Support Teams
* Deliveringcustomer and internal Service Delivery satisfaction via effective and efficient Service Integration project delivery
* Pro-active in building good working relations with all areas of Service Operations
What skills/experience do you need to bring to this role?
* A strong level of knowledge and experience with core infrastructure components, such as:-
1 Windows OS ( absolutely essential)
2 Networking (absolutely essential)
3 Storage
4 Cloud
5 VMWare
6 Hyper-V
* Minimum 3 year's experience in a technical role covering core infrastructure components (Networking, Windows, Applications, Storage, Hypervisor, Cloud)
* Proven commercial experience delivering projects and complex changes
* Previous experience of a Managed Service Transition/On-board
* Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices
* Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Project)
* Industry recognised qualifications in relevant areas (Networking, Windows, Applications, Storage, Hypervisor, Cloud) will be highly advantageous
