I am currently recruiting for a global insurance company based in Basingstoke who are looking for a Junior Java Developer. If you are looking to be able to work for a large company where you can learn from others, then this is the role for you.
Your role as Junior Java Developer:
You will be handling many aspects of developing an application including the coding, testing and security within a team of 10 developers so there will be many people to learn from. You willbe working with an Agile environment. You will be building business apps with OutSystems Low Code with less code and reduce theIT Backlog and deliver apps faster allowing a quicker and intuitive development cycle.
You will be using:
* Java
* RESTful and SOAP APIs
* XML/JSON/SoapUI for testing APIs
* MongoDB/NoSQL
A suitable candidate for this role will have a goodbackground in Object-orientated Programming, in particular Java, and will have knowledge of these technologies. You would alsohave good communication skills, be eager to learn and be able to work collaboratively within a team.
