Code Red Associates are a leading supplier of Permanent & Contract ICT resource to a variety of Blue Chip, SME & expanding organisations throughout the UK. We are currently looking for an experienced SQL DBA for a respected organisation with offices in London.
The principal responsibilities include the installation,configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of databases, integration and rules applications, and BizTalk. You will have solid experience of database administration in Microsoft SQL Server environment (at least 2008) and relevantSQL Server certification. Your new role will require excellent analytical, data interpretation, problem solving, stakeholder engagement, numeracy & communication skills. Exposure to SSRS along with experience of building and troubleshooting SSIS packages are also a must.
* Solid experience of database administration in Microsoft SQL Server environment (at least 2008)
* Relevant SQL Server certification
* Experience of undertaking database backup and recovery, copying and mirroring of databases andconfiguration of databases in a housing sector environment
* A solid understanding of database architecture and structures
* Experience of building and troubleshooting SSIS packages
* Exposure to SSRS
* Achieved or working towards ITIL v3 Foundation & Prince 2 Foundation
* Excellent analytical, data interpretation, problem solving, stakeholder engagement, numeracy and communication skills
* Focused on customer service, with good communication and documentation skills
