Description:
I have an urgent requirement for an experienced SQL-Server DBA, with good development skills. You will be of a technical background, with a hands-on approach.
Based mostly remote, with 1 day per week in theoffice located in York.
The Role:
* You will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems; ensuring they run both smoothly and efficiently.
* You will be expected to develop queries and procedures, and create custom reports to enhance organisational productivity.
* It is essential that you have alogical approach to your work, with excellent problem solving skills.
* The ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, is very important.
* You will demonstrate composure when working with various internal teams, end users, and system owners,both technical and non-technical.
* Responsible for the configuration and maintenance of database servers and their processes.* Perform regular health checks on systems.
* Promote high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security.
* Ensure all documentation is kept up to date.
