Description:
My client are a prestigious government organisation based in Southampton. They seeking a Technical Architect on an initial 6 month contract basis, to support the Programme Lead and Lead Technical Architect in delivery of programme requirements and outcomes within a defined timeframe.
Outcomes
* To provide assistance to the organisation to define their future services landscape (as part of a wider programme team) through desktop research and virtual engagements with stakeholders as requiredby:
* Comparing technical elements, including data centres, of UK Coastguard functions and operations with other Coastguardoperations and documenting findings and recommendations
* Documenting and presenting findings and recommendations from technology horizon scanning as related to Maritime Futures that create a case for change
* Contributing to the establishment of a future vision and strategy, including the development of business transformation artefacts as required
* Reviewing and influencing the Technical Audit findings and recommendations and advise on the impacts t
* Contributing to the development of a subsequent programme plan and high level requirements of any required programme of work including specifically the establishment of a future technology enabled services landscape
* Contributing to the creation of a business case from a technical perspective tosupport the realisation of the programme defined above.
