Technical Design Authority - UK Wide - Home Based
£80-95,000 + Bonus = £100k package

A leading IT services organisation are seeking people to to join their team on a permanent basis in a Technical Design Authority role. You will be responsible for taking customer requirements and architecting solutions up to an enterprise level. You will be in charge of end-to-end delivery of large projects.
The Technical Design Authority will be very client-facing therefore good customer soft skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be from an IT professional services background that is still happy to do hands-on delivery and lead projects and teams.
The client areinvolved with the latest technologies so we need somone that is passionate about technology and keen to keep their knowledge level high. Industry relevant certifications, attending seminars and keep up to date is highly desirable.
Must have a driving license and be willing to travel UK wide; in line with the requirements of the role.
Role Responsibilities:
* Architectingof solutions from scratch
* Improving the knowledge of proposed designs within the relevant support teams
* Ensuring that technical knowledge and documentation is shared amongst the Managed Services team members.
* Sharing information on new products and capabilities in order to improve IT strategy across the business
* Supporting delivery consultants to ensure project iscompleted successfully
Technical requirements:
* Extensive technical knowledge in more than one discipline (Virtualisation, Public Cloud, SAAS, IAAS, Enterprise Storage Platforms, Backup Technologies etc)
* Knowledge in upcoming technologies - software defined infrastructure, DevOps, Containers (highly desirable)
