Telecoms Service Delivery Executive /2nd Line Support Technician
LONDON
Up to £40,000 + BENEFITS
We have a great opportunity for a Telecoms Service Delivery Executive / 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a well-established and expandingbusiness.
The role of the 2nd Line Support / IT Administrator is primarily to work alongside the IT Manager to maintain the existing IT Infrastructure and systems and manage new projects/installations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provides advanced support services to our clients across the globe
* Working alongside colleagues and clients on proactive and reactive projects
Working on multiple projects simultaneously
* Supporting with and/or installing IP telephony systems
* Meeting client deadlines and expectations
* Deployment and support for MS Teams and Office 365
* Working with Asterisk systems
* Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
THE PERSON:
* Previous experience in in 3rd/ 2nd line support functions within the telecoms industry* Experience in a hands-on role supporting and/or installing IP telephony systems
* Excellent knowledge of MS Teams and Office 365
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows 7 & 8
* Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructures
* Possess excellent communication skills
* Be an excellent problem solver with strong analytical skills
* The role requires good knowledge and analysisof SIP signalling and IP communications protocols, along with popular IP phones.
