Description:
Our client, based a commutable distance from Killarney, Kanturk, Macroom, Mallow, Newmarket - Ballincollig side of Cork city - is looking to employ an Electronics/Electrical Degree Grad for a quality debug engineer vacancy.
This role hascome about due to internal promotion and there will be a full and comprehensive hand over and training period given.
Do you have a formal Level 8 electronics, electrical engineering degree?
Are you interested in a role where you will get to deal with customers and possibly travel nationally and internationally to client sites, investigating faults?
Are you currently based in Ireland? Eligible to work in Ireland without a visa?
Your Duties in your new job will include:
* Responsibility for customerreturn analysis
* De bugging of PWB to detect open circuits, short circuits, component issues etc
* Review of SMT, Moulding,Paint / Laser, Final Assy areas to determine root cause and implement corrective actions
* Preparing and issuing 8d reports with detailed evidence of cause, corrective actions and preventive actions
* Chairing meetings both internal (with Management)and external (with customer, sales office, HQ)
* Management of FMEA and Control plan to ensure updates coincide with 8ds etc* Complete any testing requirements such as micro vu measurements, Temperature cycling and X Ray Analysis.
* Support any final assembly issues across all product lines.
* Support Quality product and process audit issues.
* Responsibility for preparing 4Q reports to HQ.
* Responsibility for controlling documentation such as quality alerts, temporary work instructions etc.* First point of contact for Asian and European sales office on any Quality concerns.
* Verifying implemented corrective actions following closure of an 8d.
