Embedded Software Engineer - Linux
Cambridge
6-month contract (Outside IR35)
£350 - £400 per day
My client in Cambridge have a contract requirement for an embedded software engineer who has a significant amount of experience with embedded Linux. Ideally you will have worked with high performance computing and GPU technology in the past as well but this is not an essential requirement.
The company operates around the semiconductor/FPGA space and have some extremely exciting projects coming up, the work will obviously involve a lot of embedded Linux development but will also give you the opportunity to dabble in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence as well.
Key requirements for the position are:
* Embedded C
* Embedded Linux -Device drivers and Kernel
* Some kind of experience developing with FPGA or SoC targets
