We are an experienced IT support company based in Nottingham offering managed IT Support services to businesses within Nottingham and the East Midlands. We have been supporting local and national businesses with managed IT Support services since 2007, as technology is evolving and the demand for IT is ever increasing, organisations are understanding the importance of minimal downtime to ensure that maximum efficiency is achieved, this is where we can help. We also offer website design, development and bespoke project work for organisations.
As runners up in the ' I love Beeston' Awards, our retail store in Beeston, Nottingham offers computer repairs, components, custom built gaming computers and a Virtual Reality demo services.
We now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team and develop with the business. Whether working on in-house or client projects you will be responsible for managing the day to day development of all WordPress sites.
Key Responsibilities
Included (but not limited to):
- Producing high-end creative designs that conform to the latest web standards.
- Fully versed in the inner workings of WordPress.
- Well versed with cross-browser testing.
- Experienced in Javascript and CSS optimisation techniques.
- Good knowledge of Photoshop.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Able to manage concurrent projects.
Qualifications and experience
- The applicant should have good/great knowledge of WordPress, CSS.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with great knowledge of WordPress & WordPress programming.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience with design.
- Excellent HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, PHP, HTML & MySQL, WordPress Plugin Development
- Experience developing cross-browser responsive websites
- Good understanding of Web Accessibility and security
- To work well within a team as well as independently
- Applicant to have a ‘can do’ attitude
- Be able to work to deadlines
- Be organised and pro-active, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to think through and solve problems.
- Exemplary communication skills with an excellent standard of spoken and written English
