My client a rapidly growing Transport and Logistics provider whoare looking for an experienced Depot / Transport Manager to join their long standing and successful team.

Responsibilities:
* Managing a team of drivers, logistics staff and a small office based team
* Prioritising its day to day activities to ensure that deadlines are achieved, and a high-quality customer focused service is available
* Coordinating with all team members including owners and directors
* Quickly reacting to and handling issues
* Plan and schedule collections and deliveries
* Resolve reactive issues forsuppliers, logistics, and delivery customers - for example port rejected load, delays in unloading, rescheduling etc
* Managing customer and logistics queries, complaints and disputes resolute
* Pricing new and existing supply routes
* Managing incoming enquiries and responding appropriately
Skills Required:
* Previous experience in logistics in either freight forwarding or direct logistics management or Warehouse
* Management experience.
* Must hold an international CPC
* Self-motivatedwith a proactive approach to work with a 'can do' attitude
* Highly organised with a good attention to detail
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Able to converse with customers - to build relationships, to work with and managing expectations to deliver a service
* Proficient on MS office packages
