THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're recruiting for an experienced Head of Asset Management to join a Multi-Award winning, international business that is located on the outskirts of Glasgow.
This is anideal opportunity for someone from a Asset Management / Project Management / Programme Management background to take on a busy,varied and rewarding role within a large and reputable business.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement the Asset ManagementStrategy alongside the Director of Asset Management
* Manage a fleet of 32 vessels and all the reactive and proactive projectsinvolved with them
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally across departments such as Service Delivery, Finance, Health and Safety, Business Development etc
* Assist in the development and implementation of the Maintenance policy, asset maintenance and engineering strategy and work closely with the Service Delivery Planning team
* Plan,procure and deliver technical and engineering projects across the organisation
* Manage projects from cradle to grave with involvement and control at all levels to maximise effectiveness, minimise disruption and manage cost
THE PERSON
* Effectivemanagement and strong project management and communication skills.
* Proven leadership skills across multiple disciplines.
*Strong written/verbal communication skills and an influential communicator.
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
* Demonstrate and utilise skills as a mentor and coach to support effective team development.
* A strong working knowledge of all regulations and their impact on the business.
