We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Travel professional to join an established Tour Operator based in the South London area.
Description:
Responsible for the customer post booking needs by handling their questions and concerns and requests with speed and professionalism. Contribute to the positive image of the company through the provision of excellent after care.
Responsibilities:
*Service customer telephone and email traffic
*Management of booking modifications and cancellations
*Delivery of pertinent information regarding a customer's upcoming holiday
*Ability to enthusiastically promote and upsell products within the USA, Caribbean, Mexico and Canada
*Creation and distribution of customer documentation
*Support our Reservations team in the servicing of sales calls duringpeak periods
*Support our Agency Sales team in the servicing of online account set-up/re-set enquiries
Requirements for this role:
*Proficient customer service delivery
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Effectual organisational skills and attention to detail
*Ability to embrace procedural, market, environmental change to meet business needsand objectives
*Flexibility as during rare, non-standard events such as hurricanes, additional/different hours will be required
*Strong understanding of USA, Caribbean, Mexico and Canada product
*GDS experience, ideally Worldspan (desired, not essential)
The hours and package:
This role is an initial 1-year contract (with the good potential of becoming a permanent role)position, paying a salary of £19,000 - £21,000.
Working hours: Monday - Friday (9 - 5.30pm)
