Description:
This very well-established travel company with ambitious growth plans for thecoming years, are seeking someone who can take on responsibility of GDS ticketing for their existing Managed Service agents, both Business and leisure travel.
This is an amazing opportunity to join a fantastic company at a very exciting time. You, as Air Product and Ticketing Executive, would report to the highly skilled and energetic Head of Business Travel. You would work alongside a team of really friendly professionals in both Business Travel and Leisure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Ensure all fares are checked, priced and tickets issued accurately and efficiently within the GDS for our agents
*Calculate fare differences and reissuing tickets
*Regularly check and maintenance of central ticketing authorities and nett fare contracts
*Work with our GDS and technology partners to ensure efficient implementation of any new agents
*Work with our After Hours service provider to ensure efficient implementation of any new agents and Fare Desk coverage at all times
*Run the Fares Helpdesk servicefor our members; providing support and assistance with GDS entries and fare related queries via email and phone
*Liaise with airlines on behalf of colleagues and members to help resolve any issues where necessary
*Access BSP link and the IATA Portal
*Ensure Net Fare Manager is up to date and accurate
*Re-distribute of GDS nett fares to our members
*Make recommendations to improve efficiencies of the Fares Desk function where necessary
*Continuously strive to improve operating standards and methods inorder to meet and exceed the requirements of the business and any agreed targets
*Maintain the Fares Desk member extranet site*Assist the finance department with BSP related queries
Experience and required attributes:
*Working with GDS, preferably using Galileo Smartpoint and Focalpoint on a daily basis
*Ticketing net, ITX and published fares
*Building multi-sector andRTW itineraries
*Dealing with re-issues
*Solving flight/ticket related problems efficiently
*Working within a TMC environmentin an operational capacity
You may be required to meet with airlines, attend trade events, and become involved in the development of our Air Strategy, ATOL solution and division growth plans. So we'd preferably like you to come with:
*Relationship management or customer facing experience
*Existing airline relationships
*Experience working with net fare re-distribution
The Package:
The successful applicant can expect a very competitive salary of £32-35k plus amazing additional company benefits.Interested?
