Do you have experience within the Travel Industry?

A large trusted Travel Brand based in London (SE) have an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Customer Support Advisor to join their teamof 8.

As an Assistant Customer Support Adviser you will be providing excellent customer service, assist the customers and Members when something goes wrong. Using a range of communication skills, such as email, letters and most often answering incomingcalls, in supporting our customers.

Duties:


*To have primary responsibility and manage the administrative function forthe team, which would include;
-correspondence (letters/emails) is registered and scanned on the Database within 24 hours of receipt.
-answering telephone calls in a professional manner and at times in a hectic environment.
*Ensure that all correspondence is dealt with properly and within the timeframes as agreed with the Assistant Customer Support Manager and/or the CustomerSupport Manager.
*Where appropriate approach Members and refer cases to the Legal Department, Destination and Sustainabilityand/or Claims Handling Partner.
*Advise customers (travellers) how they can pursue matters and advise on the options availableshould a dispute remain unresolved.
*Ensure that records are kept of correspondence with clients and members.

Skills & Experience:
*A high standard of literacy and exceptional communication skills.
*Good people skills with an excellent telephone manner with strong empathetic and listening skills.
*Willingness to learn and get involved.
*Patience and calmness underpressure.
*Ability to handle difficult situations.
*Flexibility.
*Pro-active and confident team player
*Experience in or out of the travel industry of dealing with complaints, would be of an advantage but not essential as training will be given.Salary & Working Hours:

This is a Monday - Friday position (9 - 5.30) and the salary on offer is £20,848 per annum, plus company benefits.
