Are you an experienced travel professional who looking for a new opportunity within the travel industry? I am currently recruiting for an Aviation Executive who is experienced in all things aviation, you will have worked on a GDS system (Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus) and have a thorough understanding ofthe whole flight booking process from start to finish. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Aviation Executive to workwithin a dedicated team to control and manage the airline inventory in their Swindon based offices. This is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed!
THE JOB:
*Booking confirming and issuing tickets for Galileo bookings
*Keeping track of and booking of out of date range bookings for groups
*Dealing with and clearing queues on a daily basis including those bookings with automated responses from airlines
*Updating group allocation figures /spread sheets
*Supporting sales and customer support by email over the phone and face to face with flight queries
*Finding cost effective routes, fares and classes
*Keep up to dateon fare rules and ticket deadlines
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of airline reservations and have first-hand experience of a GDS system either Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus, you will have a great understanding of working within the travel industry.
THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate with receive a fantastic salary in the region of £22000 - £24000 which is dependent on experience, you can also expect some amazing company benefits which include bonus, pensionand medical benefits!
