Description:
My Client is currently looking to recruit a Backend Web Developerto join their team to manage their web development across 5 countries in line with business strategy and requirements, this company is a specialist tour operator who are extremely successful and are growing massively. As the Backend Web Developer you willoversee management and optimisation of digital infrastructure, design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code.
The Role
*Website development and Project Management
*Active management and development of websites.
*Design, build, andmaintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
*Oversee management and optimisation of digital infrastructure including servers and continued site optimisation (speed, SEO) for best global website performance.
*Management of third party suppliers for both server hosting and outsourced development.
*Implement functionality upgrades both front and back end to improve systems performance e.g. automation of internal processes, reporting, partner feed / portals.
*Develop and enhance of new and existing websites with a particular focus on complex data management and visualisations, linking backend database systems with interactive frontend user experiences for a range of audiences
*Development and management of a central master Content Management Systems database for secure storage, managed access and data - Work closely with our Marketing and Product teams to develop systems to maximise digital assets.
*Ensure data moves neatly between multiple systems using custom APIs.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Excellent knowledge of; .NET C# MVC/Core, PHP, SQL (MSSQL, MySql)
*Excellent knowledge of Content Management System solutions
*Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
*Skill with HTML5, CSS3, JS
*Skill for writing reusable libraries
*Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
*The ability for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code*Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
*Experience creating database schemas thatrepresent and support business processes
*Project Management
*Demonstrable experience developing data dashboards linking multiple data sources to create user friendly live reporting
*Version control experience & exposure to 3rd party API integrations
*Demonstrable experience conducting user interface and experience research to understand potential audiences driving statistics and with a proven ability to present results clearly and succinctly to inform product development and future campaigns
*Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills with ability to relate to and work effectively with individuals froma wide range of backgrounds and cultures, at all levels
*Flexible, adaptable approach to changing priorities
THE PACKAGE:The salary on offer for this Backend Web Developer role is in the region of £45000 - £50000 plus great company benefits like company bonus, pension, medical benefits and more….
