Do you have experience in negotiating and contracting rates and availabilities with hotels and ground handlers within the UK? My client, one of the leading Inbound Destination Management Companies within the UK is seeking a Contracting Executive to join theirexpanding team in London. As a Contracts Executive you will be responsible for contracting new and repeat non-accommodation ancillary services, rates and terms in the UK. If you have previous contracting experience, strong negotiation skills and good knowledge of the UK market this could represent a fantastic career opportunity for you.
Job Responsibilities:
*Negotiate rates and terms for non-accommodation and new ancillary services.
*Ensure that agreements are correctly set up on Tour Plan and that file folders are kept in good order.
*Responsible for the management of image bank, ensuring all contracted product has suitable images available and that the image bank is managed and updated.
*Drawing up contracts, submitting contracts for loading, managing supplier set up processes and bookings.
*Keep abreast of product sales performance.
*Establish good practice of recognising new possible suppliers to work with.
*Attend Trade / network events either on own or with the Operations Manager UK.*Ensure that all relevant staff are aware as and when contracts are secured and available to sell.
Skills Required:
*Previous contracting experience or strong negotiation skills
*Fluency in English is an essential requirement (oral & written)*Fluency in a second European language would be highly desirable.
*Good knowledge of the UK-wide tourism industry products essential
*Experience with UK-wide transport and coach companies preferable
*Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
*Excellent customer care and communication skills
