An opportunity has arisen to work for an exciting, fast paced and dynamic Tourist Board responsible for their digital and trade and B2B marketing channels
THE ROLE
*To support the Manager, Digital Marketing, UK & Northern Europe to execute digital marketing campaigns in accordance with UK marketing strategy, including writing briefs, reviewing media plans and preparing creative assets.
*Assist Manager, Trade Development to manage co-op campaigns with tour operators including collating, writing and proofing of campaign materials
*Event organisation in conjunction with Manager, Trade Development including compiling invitation lists, monitoring RSVPs and on-site logistics during the event.
*Represent at trade events in the UK and occasionally in other markets
*Educating the travel trade: undertake training presentations and workshops when required
*Administration and content management of the website and micro-site for UK, including soliciting partner offers, optimising landing pages for campaigns and obtaining translations
*Responsible for researching, generating and scheduling content for other promotional platforms including advertising copy, social media adverts and other campaign sites.
*Maintain and monitor consumer and trade marketing performance by providing regular analysis of website statistics, campaign results and traffic generated from URL tracking.
*Preparation of both consumer and trade online newsletter including researching content, editing, database management & distribution.
*Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports including market intelligence and activities for Marketing and Trade functions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*At least5+ years digital marketing experience - Preferable but not essential within the travel/leisure sectors, comfortable with networking at trade events and running training or workshops
*Good understanding of Digital Marketing principles, including online advertising, social media, content management, digital performance metrics - with an interest in advancing your Digital Marketingskills.
*Knowledge of the following software packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photo shop, Word press CMS (or similar), Google Analytics or similar web analytics software
*A passion for travel marketing and a proven ability to bring ideas and initiatives to the role
*KPI-driven and able to work towards targets and performance metrics
*Educated to a degree level with impressive communication skills, both written and verbal
