My client, a well-established academic travel company are currently recruiting for a Groups Sales Consultant to join their busy team on a permanent basis! With over 12 years' experience in what they do, they have built a solid foundation with schools around the UK to offer a one of a kind personalised service. This is all to create a real, once in a lifetime educational experience for students! This is fantastic hybrid of a role, which will definitely keep you busy!
Your new role:-Account management of existing school clients
-Development of new school clients
-Handle enquiries and respond within a timely manner
-Create quote itineraries and convert to bookings
-Liaise with suppliers to book hotels, flights and excursions-Provide exceptional customer service
-Keep on top of tour administration and hand over files in good order to the co-ordinator team
Your ideal experience:
-Outstanding administration skills, this is an admin heavy role!
-Attention to detail is key- experience working in a similar role is essential
-Self-motivation, drive and determination to get the job done
-A calm andcollected manner when a problem does arise
-Willingness to cope under pressure and throughout busy periods
-Organised and ability to work to your own device
-Knowledge of worldwide destinations is desirable
-A hunger to hit sales targets!
What'sin it for you?
-A fantastic salary in the region of £18,000 - £22,000kpa (Depending on experience)
-Friendly Monday - Fridayoffice hours (Weekends free!)
