Description:

My client isa successful tour operator who truly believe in developing the knowledge, capability and skills of all staff in the company. Dueto expansion they are currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to work part time 20-25 hours per week to manage the global payroll process for all of their locations across their worldwide offices. You will play an integral part within this fast movingand developing business, reporting to and assisting the Group Accountant working in their Swindon based offices.

THE JOB:
To manage the global payroll process for all locations within the Payroll portal (the payroll provider supplies a fully managed service globally using ICP's in country)

Monthly payroll:
*Collate data from Sales and Line Manager's for the monthly payrollinput
*Work with the HR and Finance team to ensure everything is uploaded within the required deadlines.
*Check and monitor overtime forms to ensure compliance with policy and working time directive
*Ensure timely delivery of payroll information to thepayroll provider
*Ensure payment is made to employees on the determined payment date (normally 28th of each month)
*Own the relationship with the payroll provider escalating any issues/concerns to the Group Accountant
*Collection of data for commission payments from sales teams, ensuring this is approved
*Ensure all variable pay data for office staff is collected
*Reviewingall draft payroll data and obtain sign off
*Deal with all payroll queries from all global locations

Reporting:
*Balance sheet reconciliation of all payroll related accounts across global entities
*Preparation and review of payroll journals to pass tomanagement accountants
*Preparation of payroll related information for audits
*Produce and submit management information reports and data analytics when required

Legal compliance:
*Ensuring iiPay are complying with the statutory payments in each location globally
*Year-end procedures and tax reporting globally within iiPay
*Manage any payroll forecasting for the group based on headcount, pay rates etc and feed this into the management accounting team
*Work with iiPay to produce P11d's for tax year18/19 and then ensure all BIK are put through payroll going forward and calculated correctly.
*Holiday pay accrual calculationby legal entity, ensure compliance and passing to management accountants to post to SUN

Skills set required:
Essential
*Extensive payroll experience
*Understanding ofpayroll legal requirements in UK
*Experience of dealing with highly confidential/sensitive data
*Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
*Ability to work to tight deadlines
*Calm and flexible in approach
*Experience of administrating an auto enrolment pension scheme

Desirable:
*Experience of working in a commission-based environment
*Professional Payroll qualification (Foundation degree in Payroll Management preferable)
*Global payroll experience
*Understanding of payroll legal requirements in Dubai, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand
*Membership of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP)
*Experience of working with iipay

THE PACKAGE:
The salary on offer for this fantastic new role is dependent on experienceand pro rata per annum in the region of £30000 - £35000, you will be working part time 20-25 hours PW (Monday to Friday) This company reward their employees with a fantastic benefit package.
