Description:
Are you a Health & Safety Specialist looking for a change? As a company with an ever-expanding range of accommodation we nowrequire a dedicated and experienced health & safety professional to manage the auditing of our exciting accommodation portfolio.
The Job:
*Ensure that all hotel, apartment and chalet properties in our programme have up to date health & safety audits.
*Co-ordinate with our third-party audit supplier, wholesalers and individual properties to send audits to the correct contact person.
*Maintain a record of sent and completed audits.
*Where necessary, follow up with properties to ensure audits andsubsequent validation questions are completed.
*Take responsibility for ensuring that recommendations are dealt with practically. I.e. negotiating certain restrictions, following up on any queries that arise.
*Assess third party supplier audits and provide recommendations as to individual properties' suitability for use.
*Develop an understanding of the specific health & safety requirements for each of our partners.
*Keep the Product Team up-to-date with legislation concerning health & safety under EU Package Travel Regulations.
*Some overseas travel may be required for on-the-ground inspections.
Skills required:
*Health and safety experience within travel and/or hotel accommodation.
*A solid background in health & safety management systems is a must.
*Ideally hold a recognized qualification in health and safety auditing procedures, preferably accommodation supply.
*Excellent analytical skills with the ability to produce and present reports.
*Top-notch organisational skills with the ability to manage a large volume of outgoing/incoming audits
The package:
*Salary dependent on experience and this role is available at a full or part time basis plus company benefits.
