If you have a good understanding of hotels in the UK and Europe, this operations role may be for you! Our client, are a fast-growing specialist wholesaler travel company which supplies ground travel products and service are seeking an experienced Mandarin speakingOperations Executive.
Job Description:
*Receiving quotation enquiries from the sales team from the Asia office.
*Receiving the purchasing orders from sales team in Asia and putting all detailed information into the in-house system.
*Resolving clients queries over the phone in Chinese and providing customer services,
*Booking Ferry tickets, attraction tickets and restaurant if needed
*Inputting and checking rates onto the in-house computer system and negotiating other conditions such as cancellation policies, rooms decrease and upgrades
*Sending our booking confirmation and rooming list, amending rooming list for each bookings with different hotel.
*Providing suitable alternatives when required and negotiating possible compensations when hotelsdo not provide the standard of service required
*Dealing with amendments and cancellations of hotel bookings
Experience Required:
*Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
*A good knowledge of the inbound tourism industry products is essential
*Some experience of handling VIP and/or luxury accounts is desirable
*Experience using Tourplan is desirable but not essential
*Travel & Tourism degree or relevant travel industry experience preferable
*Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
*Excellent customer care and communication skills
*Team player able to work in a busy environment
The Package:
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary of £21,000 - £22,000.
