A well known specialist touroperator are looking for an experienced Latin America Travel Specialist to join their busy team.
As a Travel Specialist you are the face of the company. The role is a varied one, but involves looking after our client's or trade partners right from theirinitial enquiry, up until the clients return from their holiday. We have vacancies in our Trade and Direct teams and you willbe the single point of contact for each of your clients or travel agents needs. It is vital you are passionate about Latin America and you will be required to continually learn about the latest products, news and information. You will need to demonstratefirst class customer service, quick learning, passion and ambition.
Key Responsibilities
⦁Creation and sale of high quality, tailor made holidays to South America,
⦁Make the most of every single genuine sales enquiry received,
⦁Ensure the products sold, and the supporting information, is of the highest standard.
⦁Achieve exceptional levels of service at all times.
⦁Interacting with our clients / agent partners, mostly over the telephone - with some face to face meetings, either in the office or at events.
⦁Continual training to ensure that you remain a true Travel Specialist with up to date commercial knowledge and understanding of hotels / flights / infrastructure in South America.
⦁A total commitmentto customer service. It's your goal to ensure we exceed all clients expectations.
About You
We are currently recruiting experienced Travel Specialists (minimum 1 year in the travel industry) but we also look for energy and enthusiasm. We want someone who will embrace what we are trying to achieve as a company and work hard to help us get there. You will find an ideal candidate list below, but every point is not essential as all new employees undergo an extensive training programme - so if you have the want, we can teach you the how!

⦁Some travel experience of Latin America
⦁A minimum of 1 year working for a travel agency or tour operator selling travel

The Details
The role will be based at our head office in Surrey, however, there may be the occasional requirement to work at any location across London (zones 1 - 6). The hours are 42.5 per week, predominantly Monday-Friday. Shifts during the week will either be9am - 5:30pm or 10:30am - 7pm on a roster pattern, with 45 minutes for lunch. You will be required to work one Saturday in threeand time for this is given back in lieu. There may be the occasional requirement to work an additional Saturday, evening, Sunday and public holiday. Again, time for this is given back in lieu.
In return you will receive a competitive basic salary (depending on experience) and commission on all of your sales. Realistic OTE would be £30k p.a. for Travel Specialists, rising to over£35k p.a. for Senior Travel Specialists. However, all commissions are uncapped, offering all levels an unlimited earning potential. Employees will also receive holiday, a generous company discount for personal trips, as well as the opportunity for companyfam trips to our destinations.
