My client, awell-known luxury travel company is seeking a Travel Consultant with extensive worldwide knowledge to join their friendly team in London. As a Travel Consultant you will be tailor making itineraries to some of the world's most luxurious resorts. Your key objectives will be to convert enquiries and leads into firm sales, demonstrate the best product knowledge in the industry, buildrelationships and deliver exceptional service to your clients. JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
*Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
*Respond to client enquires & create inspiring travel itineraries' in a friendly and professional manner.
*To contribute to company sales targets by exceeding personal minimum expectedsales figures.
*Explore opportunities to "add value" to every holiday sale
*Selling additional products and services
*Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service
SKILLS REQUIRED:
*Previous reservationsexperience within the travel industry
*Tailor-made luxury product knowledge would be an advantage
*Passionate about travel and customer service
*Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude
*Wealth of knowledge of worldwide destinations
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Team Player
*Self-starter with own initiative.
THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £20,000 - £21,000 DOE, plus commission.
