On Board Cruise Consultant
The position of the On Board Cruise Consultant is responsible for selling future Cruises and related shore side products and services to guests on-board
Job Description
*Maximise all opportunities in the process of closing a sale and exercise upsell opportunities throughout the life of the on-board guest relationship.
*Effectively prepare and present the guestspower point documents (accordingly with marketing guideline)of (Company , destinations , ships , etc) to maximise sales generation
*Assist with providing guests with details on future itineraries for all ships within the portfolio
*Ensure accuracy in quoting guests on future cruise bookings , ensure collection of relevant payments (deposit or final means of credit card) , ensure accurate invoices are issued to guests for their future bookings
*Ensure presence at desk for the assigned desk hours
*Hostguest events, as required, such as cocktail parties and dinners and leverage them for selling opportunities.
*Maintain accuraterecords of on-board guests, utilising company-supported technology tools and processes
*Meet and greet on embark/debark
*Assist with organising and hosting of Welcome , Farewell , First Time and Cocktail receptions
*Produce voyage highlights and explanation/detail of bookings made
*All administration functions relating to sending out invites for cocktail receptions etc.
Experience Required
*Proven experience in sales activities (B2C) in the travel or hospitality industry or other industries with complex / sophisticated products (e.g luxury industries)
*Excellent impersonal skills and ability to deal with clients and prospects
*Strong leadership , management and organizational skills
*Ambitious, motivated and strongly result orientated
*Positive attitude, personable and team player
*Proven ability to achieve results and work well under pressure
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook , Excel , Word , PowerPoint) and CRM tools
