Work for this large worldwide travel group where its people are really going places! Are you a Business Travel professional whois available for an exciting and challenging business travel role where no day or travel request are the same.
This international multiple Travel Management Company are looking for an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to work on their prestigious accounts.
THE JOB:
As a Senior Business Travel Consultant you will be handling the enquiries and bookings for corporatetravellers.
*Handling client travel requests via telephone, email and booking tools.
*Sourcing the most cost effective routes of transport including Flights, Hotels, Rail & Ground Arrangements.
*Using the GDS system SABRE to search and book.
*Quote, book, issue tickets and reissue tickets for all fares worldwide.
*Managing queues and issuing tickets prior to deadlines*Handling schedule changes from airlines
*Proactively maintaining client relationships and providing a top level service.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The Business Travel Consultant should have full experience of the following:
*Using the GDS SABRE to source and book flights and hotels.
*Previous experience of working within a Travel Management Company.
*Offering exceptional customer service.
*Advanced fares and ticketing knowledge including manual fares creation.
*Knowledge of handling BSP issues, re-issues, refunds etc.
*Exceptional customer service skills
OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION:
Working full time, Monday to Friday between standard office based hours based in Central London offices.
THE PACKAGE:
For the successful candidate there will be a competitive annual salary and company benefits package which will be discussed at interview stage.
Ranging between £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
