My client is a very successful specialist tour operator who are looking to expand their Commercial team and are currently looking to recruit a Senior Commercial BI Analyst, you will be responsiblefor the development and maintenance of support tools and reports used by the International markets and management teams to maximise revenue and aid commercial decision making. Using advanced data mining (SQL) and presentation skills the analyst will designand build data infrastructure, data visualisations, analytics services and predictive models to describe business performance and recommend courses of action.
In addition to developing reports and tools the analyst must possess a strong combination of technical aptitude, analytical prowess, and business savvy and be comfortable working proactively with a variety of teams acrossthe globe to understand business problems, produce insights, implement best practices and operationalise analytics.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Oversee the timeliness and accuracy of reporting deliverables for all three brands. Responsible for developing and maintaining a suite of daily and weekly reporting on business performance trends to communicate to stakeholders across the business.
*Design and develop models and algorithms that track KPIs and guide tactical/strategic commercialdecisions, providing insights across key areas of market performance including ticket revenue performance, on-board revenue performance and direct performance.
*Become one of the team experts on sourcing commercially relevant data, validating it and maximising the impact and use through data visualisations in PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
*Build solid cross functional relationships and create buy-in with stakeholders across the company to efficiently facilitate the design, research, development, and delivery of data statistics, models and reporting deliverables to improve commercial decision making and forecast accuracy.
*Deliver relevant and actionable commercial information for the international markets, executives and other departments by supporting requests and needs.
*Support the International Business Performance and International Strategic Planning teams in all commercial initiatives.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
*Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen.
*Proficiency with SQL, PowerBI, Brio Intelligence/Hyperion, Excel and PowerPoint.
*Ability to understand, manipulate and draw conclusions from data is essential. Must be able to communicate complexquantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences with a desire towork in a collaborative, intellectually curious environment with the ability to interact across various teams.
*Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with deadlines and manage changing priorities with minimal supervision and intervention.*To perform this position successfully the individual should be a self-starter and be able to complete a project with minimal direction when necessary. The candidate must also be able to perform each essential duty in a timely and accurate manner. oKnowledge of reservations system and revenue management data preferred.
oSees opportunities to innovate and can lead the way.
oWillingness to acceptimmediate project responsibility.
oAbility to operate in a team environment.
oAbility to teach and coach.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor's degree in business or economics or similar quantitative field.
*Minimum of 6+ years of post-graduate experiences. Revenue analytics experience required.
*Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
*Previous experience in implementing BI enhancements and/or decision making tools required.
*Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, clear and concise reporting
