Do you have a minimum of 2 years current ticketing experience with a GDS (ideally Galileo)? Do you have a flair for fares? Do you want to work for an established specialist tour operator and progress your ticketing experience? If so, please read on!
This is a fantasticopportunity for a Ticketing Executive with a solid understanding of ticketing to join a reputable tour operator based on the boarders of East London and Essex and progress your fares & ticketing career. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and fulfilling all ticketing requirements in a timely manner, fundamental to the smooth running of the operations department. My client has been established in the travel industry for years and has built their reputation on excellent service and being able to offer good quality travel options.
Duties Include:
*Manually issuing tickets using Galileo.
*Issuing published and NETTfares
*Accurately reissue all tickets and ensure that these are completed within agreed timescales
*Checking airline contracts to ensure tickets are issued in line with the agreed contract
*Contacting airlines to deal with fare queries
*You will offer excellent customer service at all times and help resolve any queries
Skills Required:
*Minimum 2 years' experience ofbooking worldwide travel using a GDS (Galileo is preferred but other GDS systems will be considered).
*Proven experience of issuing, re-issuing and performing re-calculations of international and domestic airlines.
*Experience of working for a specialist tour operator in a similar role.
*Sound organisation skills and flexibility, with experience of managing multiple work streams.
*Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
*Well organised and able to work to deadlines.
The Package:
*A salary range of £23,000 - £25,000 per annum subject to experience
*28 days paid holiday, increasing to up 33 days for long service
