Our client is a successful travel company based in South West London and theyare seeking an experience Training Specialist.
This Travel Company is an established company with over 20 years' experiencein providing leading software solutions to tour operators and travel agencies. The company has around 50 employees who fulfil various development, customer delivery and support roles.
The Job:
Reporting directly to the Training Manager, the Training Specialist will be responsible for planning, organising and delivering various elements of software training programmes. Duties will include creating training courses, client-specific lesson plans, documentation, online training content and delivering face-to-face and online training sessions to clients in the UK and abroad.
Responsibilities
*Delivering face-to-face and online software user training for the systems range of front, mid and back office management systems
*Creating training videos andother online training materials
*Creating and updating training documentation
*Working with the training team and other relevant stakeholders to develop training programmes for new and existing software products
*Identifying internal / external trainingneeds through analysis and regular consultation with the Training Manager
*Participating in company-wide testing of new software releases
*Assisting other departments with functional queries as required
*Assisting with software demonstrations at tradeshows, etc., as required
Experience/Skills Required:
Minimum Experience Requirements
*At least two years' experience insoftware training for a travel mid-office software, accounting software or similar company
*Experience in writing training manuals / guides
*Experience creating training content such as videos, articles, etc. highly desirable
*Experience using an LMS or other learning software tools highly desirable
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
*Understanding of how travel agencies operate from both a front office and back office perspective
*Strong MS Office skills
*Self-motivated and capable of working successfully under minimal supervision
*Able to thrive in a small, fast moving, fluid, and demanding organisation
*Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
*Fluency in English is essential and proficiency in other languages highly desirable
*Knowledge of accounting practices highly desirable
*This role requires frequent travel within the UK and occasionally abroad

*Technical training will be provided on the company's software products
