A Fantastic opportunity for a Travel Consultant specialising in Middle East, Indian Ocean and The Far East or USA and Canada to join a leading online tour operator in West Sussex.
The successful candidate will be a very well-travelled individual who has first-hand experience in visiting the destinations and sales driven from a call centre environment. You will answer incoming calls to create tailor-made holidays and tours, upselling meals, upgrades, excursions, transfers and insurance leading to more commission each month!A great time to join the company who offer fantastic benefits and a long career in the travel industry.
TRAVEL CONSULTANT DUTIES:
- Tailor making holidays and tours to trade and customers on the telephone.
- Using a variety of flights, ground contracts and tours to create dream itineraries.
- Working within a team to achieve sales targets and earn commission and incentives.TRAVEL CONSULTANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- You must have suitable travel industry experience working in retail travel or tour operator environment.
- Candidates from a call centre environment considered.
- Experience in working to targets within a busy call centre environment.
- Converting enquiries into bookings using your first-hand knowledge and experience.
- Delivering excellent customer service to valued repeat, recommended and new clients.
- Good knowledge of the USA and Canada or Far East, Middle East, Indian Ocean an advantage
THE PACKAGE
A competitive basic salary and a fantastic commission structure with an OTE of over £30,000 to £40,000 plus other benefits including holidays, discounted travel and on-going training this is an opportunity not to be missed.
HOURS:
Two shifts
9am until 6pm or 12pm till 9pm
