KEY DUTIES OF THE TRAVEL CONSULTANT:
*Tailor make travelitineraries and to convert enquiries into bookings
*Ensure sales targets are met and exceeded
*Deliver excellent customer service
*Ensure enquiries are dealt with in a helpful and precise manner ascertaining requirements.
*Process on line bookings
*Offer travel solutions based on clients requirements
*Tailor itineraries to meet specific client's requests.
*Adhere to deadlines.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*Minimum 2 years sales experience within the travel industry
*Travel knowledge of long haul destinations and Scheduled Airlines desired.
*GDS experience is essential.
*Good sales techniques and an excellent telephone manner*Experience working to targets
*Attention to detail and the ability work under pressure
THE PACKAGE:
*Competitive basic salary of £18k - £20k plus commission
*Monday - Saturday, on a shift rota; 9am - 17:30
