My client is a specialist adventure tour operator in the heart of London, specialises in culture, backpacking, group, safari and activity tours. As a Travel Sales Consultant you will be responsible for reaching monthly sales targets whilst driving exceptional customer service. You must be motivated by sales targets and have extensive geographical knowledge.

Job Description:
*Reach monthly sales targets while driving exceptional customer service
*Connect with our prospective travellers both over the phone and via email
*Ask the right questionsto ascertain the needs of each unique traveller
*Recommend and sell the right trip for the traveller based on their needs including any extra services that may enhance their experience.
*Ensure the use of correct booking processes and procedures to minimise risk and reduce error rates
*Work with both speed and efficiency while consistently displaying compassion and care in every interaction
*Handle any booking issues calmly and with empathy
*Act at all times with the purpose of providing a life changing experience
Skills and Experience Required:
*Minimum 1 year front-line sales experience, motivated by revenue targets and service KPIs
*Extensive geographical knowledge & a love of sales and travel
*Experience using a GDS system, preferably Amadeus, is desirable but not essential
*Superior selling skills & exceptional customer service skills are required
*Excellent verbal & written communication skills

*Flexible and energetic, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
*Ability to work varying shifts and weekends as required
*Ability to navigate and use a variety of computer systems confidently with speed and efficiency
Salary and Benefits:
*The successful candidate can expect a fantastic basic salary of £20,500, plus commission, excellent educational trips, personal development and growth.
Hours:
*The successful candidate must be flexible to workshifts and weekends on a rotational basis.
8am - 7pm (3 shifts patterns between - 8-4.30/9.30-6/10.30-7)
2 weekend days a month either 8-4.30 or 10-6
