THE JOB:
As a Travel Consultant you will beconsumer facing and creating travel itineraries from the ground up.
You will be handling a mixture of worldwide holiday packages, flights and cruises.
Interacting with clients, following up inbound leads, converting enquiries to sales.
Offering excellent customer service and going the extra mile at every opportunity.
Creating bespoke quotes and maximising profits by using negotiated rates.
Achieve and exceed sales targets
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and energetic agent with a passion for worldwide travel.
At least 2 years plus solid worldwide sales experience
Knowledge of the Caribbean, USA& Cruise holidays would be advantageous
A proven sales record of working to targets.
Live user experience with GDS Amadeus or similar GDS
Knowledge of Dolphin back office systems would also be an advantage.
OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION:
The role is working on a full time basis in their North London office.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9.30 to 5.30 plus some Saturdays also on rota with a day off in the week.
THE PACKAGE:
For the successful candidate there will be a competitive annual salary of£20,000 to £25,000 annual salary plus commission (OTE £34,000)
