Chapel of Life’s "Express Yourself" Summer Music Camp is a FREE and thrilling opportunity for 8-16 year olds to explore, experience and express themselves through music during their Summer holidays.
Over the four week August period, children are mentored by music industry professionals and teachers, to acquire musical skills and learn to play instruments of their choice from the violin, drums, keyboard, guitar, saxophone and voice training.
The programme runs from 11am-4pm, EVERY Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5th August to 30th August inclusive (i.e. 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st, 23rd, 28th and 30th August 2019), at The Wesley Hotel, Euston.
There will be an additional rehearsal on SATURDAY 31st AUGUST, ahead of our showcase on SUNDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER. Details to follow.

The students receive accreditation at the end of the course, based on information they have gained from Key Stages 3 and 4 in Music, with a view to them furthering their passion for learning in their own time. The course concludes with a presentation ceremony on 01.09.19, which celebrates the children's enthusiasm and dedication to the music program; an event to which we are delighted to welcome their parents and members of our local community (more info to follow).

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, this opportunity is for children aged between 8 and 16 years of age.
On what dates does Summer Music Camp run?
SMC runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5th to 30th August inclusive, as below:

Do(es) my child(ren) have to attend all dates?
We appreciate that families may have pre-booked holidays over Summer. In order that the children get as much out of the curriculum as possible, we advise that those attending the Summer Music Camp miss no more than TWO sessions.
Do students need to have any pre-existing musical skills to attend?
No, there is no musical requirement. Just come ready to have fun and learn!
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The venue is a few minutes' walk from Euston Station, and easily accessible by tube and bus.
There are some limited pay and display parking spaces for those wanting to drop off/pick up children, but please pay attention to relevant signage.
Please be aware that currently due to Crossrail development, parking restrictions and pedestrian diversions are in operation. There is still access to the main entrance of the Wesley Hotel so please ask if you can't locate it.
What can I bring into the event?
