Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF) PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE
Qualification Overview:
Those working towards achieving a Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care will have, and develop further, specialist skills and knowledge in their area of responsibility which enables them to lead in areas such as assessment or enablement, for instance. Learners will have responsibility for assessing performance and quality of care delivery. Their team members will look to them for inspiration, and they will provide coaching and mentoring to their colleagues. Learners could work in a variety of settings in adult social care, including but not limited to residential care, domiciliary care or day centres. The qualification would also be suitable for Lead Personal Assistants who work as part of a Personal Assistant team at a senior level. This qualification is assessed through completion of a portfolio of evidence which will be assessed and internally quality assured by the centre.
There are no specific entry requirements however learners should ideally have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above.
The total qualification time for this qualification is 700 hours and is typically delivered over 12 months.
Learners can expect to receive fortnightly support from their assessor using flexible delivery methods for the planned duration of the course.
Qualification Progression
Successful learners can progress to other qualifications and roles such Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF), Level 5 Certificate in Leading and Managing Services to Support End of Life and Significant Life Events (RQF) or other specialist healthcare qualifications.
