Kids Beginner Kayak lessons.
Come and learn the kayaking basic with other young enthusiasts! We will cover manual handling, boat manoeuvring, essential kit, proper posture, efficient paddling plus we will tailor the session to individual needs and throw in some games for good measure. This can be a one-off session for you to experience kayak or you can come multiple times to build your skill. We work on a 1 to 8 instructor ratio, so you are guaranteed focused quality feedback in a safe learning environment.
We will provide you with all the kit you need - please bring something to wear under a wetsuit but not cotton t-shirts (Underarmour type base layers are great), Old shoes that you don't mind getting wet, and a towel etc for showering afterwards.
The minimum age we recommend would be 12, If younger then we would reccomend a parent or guardian be present onsite during lesson as a full 2 hrs of a new activity can be a challange for younger kids and they may need to take regular breaks or have a slightly shorter session depending on there capabilities.
A participant information form is required to be completed on arrival.
