Full Tour Description:Maldon is a picturesque town on the Blackwater Estuary in Essex. It is the seat of the Maldon District and a starting point of the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation. It is most renowned for Maldon Sea Salt which is produced in the area. This Tour includes a memorable cruise on the legendary boat the ‘Viking Saga’, which was built in Wallasea Bay, Essex in 1947.
Lunch: There is a choice of a meat, fish and a vegetarian dish, which you can select on the day.
Transport: Minibus or coach- Booked separately.

Meet your Guide at Gants Hill Library at 8.30am or at a pre-arranged pick-up point (Central Line underground)
Your Tour begins with:
8.30 am– Meet Tour Guide at Gants Hill Library car park. Prompt departure !
9.40am Arrival at Maldon Oak House Café Restaurant. Comfort break.

9.45am Meet Your Maldon Tour Guide at The Oak House Café Restaurant and Introductions
10.00 - Thematic Tour of Maldon.
12.00 - Viking Saga pleasure Boat Cruise with commentary; Enjoy a pleasurable cruise on the Black Water Estuary and see some of Essex private islands and the bird sanctuary.
1.00 lunch at the Jolly Sailors Restaurant
2.30:- Free time to explore a choice of the Promenade Park, Museum or Marine
Cottages. And local shops.. Relaxing stroll along the Promenade.
5.00 : End of Tour.-
Depart Maldon for your return journey.
Customers With Booked Transport
Meet your Tour guide on the Marine Quay next to the Queens Head Restaurant.
Board your coach for journey back to Gants Hill.
6.30: End of tour.
