At Colchester MakerSpace, artist Jane Frederick invites you to gear up & energise your drawing skills in a series of focused practical workshops.
Inspired by the abundance of autumn and the glorious hues found in nature, we will transform the workshop space into a harvest of colour & mark making.
You will be learning to use colour as a powerful drawing tool & developing layering techniques to build complex compositions. Tea, coffee & biscuits included.
Saturday 19th October 10-1pm An Earthy palette: A morning workshop exploring dry drawing media- the versatile colour mediums pastel, oil pastel & crayon. £40
Jane Frederick has taught drawing at Colchester School of Art for over two decades and has a wealth of experience encouraging drawing development at all levels of experience. You can view examples of her practice at www.janefrederick.net
