This workshop for beginners will teach you how to take great photos, using your own DSLR camera. After this workshop you'll feel comfortable about using your DSLR camera in Manual Mode, you'll understand how to take a photo that looks great and you'll have some handy tips and tricks about photographing outside.
I will be teaching on a 'learn it by doing it' basis. We'll be both inside and outside of the event room supported by Powerpoint and printed notes.
If you have used a DSLR before we will be able to develop and build upon the current skill set and knowledge you have.

11:30am - Doors open!
- Leaving 15 minutes for others to arrive, have a cup of tea or coffee and to get to know one another.

11:45am - Camera training & Tips.
- How to use the camera (how it works, how to use it effectively and what the settings mean).
- Taking your images to the next level (compositon, your next steps).

1pm - Tasty Lunch.
- A chance to ask me questions and get to know one another.

2pm - Learn by doing.
- Practical shooting outside, putting what we learnt to the test!

3:30pm - Review.
- Head back to base and review what we shot.
Finish for roughly 4:30pm.
All you need to bring is yourself, your camera, a notepad and a pen.
This workshop will go ahead with a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 8. A small group size enables all participants to recieve individual attention.
Lunch is not provided. Prices vary, starting at £8.50. From delicious burgers, pizzas to fish & chips there is lots of food to choose from!
