Work alongside Laura Slater in her new Leeds based design studio and print workshop.
This session will support you to explore creative drawing and illustration techniques taking inspiration from a wide range of objects to create still life compositions (as well as being welcome to bring your own personal favourites to draw).
You will be guided to explore a variety of experimental drawing activities, drawing tools, and learn how to develop creative approaches to image making, using wide range media and materials. Time for independant exploration and reflection will also be given to enable you to leave the session with a portfolio of experimental drawings.
Refeshments of baked good and tea and coffee are included to keep us going through the workshop. All materials are provided.

Mabgate Mills is a 10 minute walk from Leeds Bus Station.
Access the studio via Mabgate Mills Courtyard on the corner of Macaulay Street and Skinner Lane.
Can I park at Mabgate Mills?
There is no on site parking at Mabgate Mills but road park is available all around the site on both Macualay Street and Mabgate.
What can I bring into the event?
Please bring along ideas, notebook, and please wear old clothes and sensible shoes for the workshop for health and safety reasons. All refreshments tea, coffee and baked goods will be provided through the day, it is recommended that you bring along lunch with you.
