Free Film Making Workshop - 14th/15th and 21st/22nd September
An intensive and highly practical 4-day workshop aimed at anyone who has always wanted to make a film or wants to take their first steps towards a career in film.
Industry professionals will guide you through the fundamentals of storytelling and visual language, giving you hands-on practical camera experience whilst you develop and shoot your own short film.
This workshop is being held over two weekends - 14th/15th and 21st/22nd September. Participants will be expected to attend both weekends, as each day builds on the previous days experience.

Please note, we welcome applications from anyone over 16 but that initially there will be a further manual selection process for all applications to ensure we provide a fair quota of places for our local community before allocating places to the wider public

Can Anyone apply ?
Yes anyone can apply, but priority will be given to those that have a Catford SE6 postcode. Anyone else will be put on a waiting list to be allocated a place nearer to the start date if available.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
These workshops are for people aged 16+
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is very limited ticketed parking. The best option is to come by train into either Catford or Catford Bridge train stations and then catch the 171 or 320 bus from outside Lewisham Town Hall. Otherwise, it is a 15 minute walk to the Talent Factory.
What can I bring into the event?
You do not need to bring anything to the workshops apart from enthusiam and ideas.

What's the refund policy?
This is a free event.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
No. If you cannot attend the event, please cancel your ticket to free up space for another person.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
No. We will be emailing participants information leading up to the event.
