The FIm Summer School aims to give pre-university students an insight into the University of Westminster's world renowned BA Film course. It's a way for you to explore a subject that you may want to study in the future, away from the pressures of school and exams.
If you're a budding film maker in year 10-13 then this is the club for you! Students will be introduced to short films and screen writing concepts before preparing ides for their own short films which they will shoot in groups on campus across days 3 and 4. Each student will have a role to play, from directing to set design, camera crew to actors, and will switch roles in order to gain experience in each area. On the final day, students will learn how to edit their films and screen them in the university’s auditorium. Students must be able to commit the majority (ideally all) of the 5 days.
