The Wednesday after school art class is opened to all creative children ages 8 to 11 years old who wish to learn new art techniques and create their own art work to bring home, just after school!
During our weekly art class, the children will create all sort of arts and crafts, getting inspiration from artists and art from around the world, and will be using all sort of material, such as clay, plaster, painting, ink, mosaic, paper mache...
Programme: sculpture, painting, construction, collage, modelling, screen printing...
Let them be creative and express themselves!
Full term from Wednesday 11th September to Wednesday 18th December, 4pm-5.30pm. No class on Wednesday 23rd October (half term)
Location: The art room of the Clapham Youth Center, 61 Lyham Rd, SW2 5DH London (10min walking from Clapham Common Station/ Bus 137/417 to Lyham Rd/Clarence Avenue, bus 35/37 to Bedford Rd, bus 355 to Lyham Rd/Clarence Avenue)

An apron is required and all material provided. Please arrive 10min before the start of the class.
Parents and carers are welcome to stay in the lounge next door. Tea and coffee provided to them.
The art class will be taught by Julia Nieto, in French and in English.
The workshop is fully insured and leader is first aid trained.
