National Sales Manager

An Exciting opportunity has arisen to join a West Cork-based family business involved in the manufacture and supply of quality meat products to retail and food service as National Sales Manager. A predominately office-based managerialrole, managing a national field-based sales team. As National Sales Manager, you would play a vital role in driving sales, building relationships with clients, and contributing to the growth and success of the business.

National Sales Manager

* Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share, meet revenue targets, and expand the customer base.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including retail chains, restaurants, and food service providers. Identify their needs, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Identify new business opportunities and potential markets. Conduct market research, analyze trends, and recommend innovative approaches to attract new customers.
* Lead and motivate a sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales objectives.
* Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for management. Forecast sales trends, set targets, and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams such as production, marketing, and distribution to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products to customers
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Use this knowledge to stay ahead of the competition and identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements: National Sales Manager

* Previous experience in sales, preferably in the food industry or related fields, would be beneficial. Familiarity with the retail andfood service sectors is advantageous.
* Proven ability to lead and manage a sales team set targets, and drive results. Strongleadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
* A customer-centric mindset with the ability to understandcustomer needs and provide tailored solutions. Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills are necessary.
* Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills to assess sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
