My Client are an NHS Trust based in Peterborough and are seeking an HR Advisor on an ongoing contract basis (30 - 37.5 Hours)
Job Description
To support the Human Resources Business Partners in the following:* Delivering the Workforce Strategy
* Providing a comprehensive professional and high quality HR service which includes case management, workforce engagement plans, workforce health and well-being, absence management and leadership coaching and development.
* Supporting service delivery and workforce transformation
Experience
* Good understanding of HR best practice* Experience of dealing with a full range of complex employee relations and organizational change issues
* Sound and up todate knowledge of employment law
* Knowledge and understanding of key NHS issues including national and local policy drivers,and the modernisation agenda
* Able to understand and interpret terms and conditions of employment
* Understands the importance of confidentiality, data protection and information governance
Skills and Knowledge
* Able to use HR databases and information systems
* Good analytical skills with the ability to provide excellent management information as required
* Proficient in the use of IT packages including Microsoft Office suite
* Ability to support the design, delivery and presentation ofmanagement development programmes for managers
* Ability communicate and provide advice effectively to colleagues and managersat all levels
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal reasoning, presentation skills, influencing& persuasion skills.
* Ability to analyse, review and write complex case reports
* Can demonstrate the abilities necessary to be an effective team
* member as well as the ability to work on own initiative
* Good organisation skills and planning skills with the ability to manage a large workload in a pressurised environment
* Evidence of using initiative and "thinkingoutside the box
Qualification
* CIPD or Equivalent Experience
