First City Recruitment Solutions have opportunities for an experienced Care assistants to work in a well-established nursing home's, supported living, 1-1 support based in Swindon and surrounding areas.We have ongoing work available to suit your availability.Shift times will vary from long days to nights dependant on your availability. Salary: £10.00ph - £15.14ph (hourly rate is dependant if you hold a level 2 and above health and social carequalification)
About the role:
As a Care Assistant you will work as part of a team providing physical, emotional, spiritual and social support. You will continually promote independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care.
Supporting people with personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. Completing current and appropriate documentation which includes daily record keeping, charts and care plans.
What we require from you:
Ideally you will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a care environment in either a care home, or as a home care worker.
As a Care Assistant you'll have a desire to work in elderly and dementia care. You will have excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills, be kind, reliable, empathic and recognise that the needs of each person we care for is individual.
