The Role



SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit a Claims Adjuster/Customer Support Agent for an expanding Insurance company based in the thriving jurisdiction of Gibraltar. You will be required to have a strong attention to detail and understand the needs when working within a highly regulated industry.

What You Will Be Doing

* Answering first notification of loss calls from policyholders
* Verifying policy coverage in a timely manner in accordance with claims guidelines and collection of premium
* Managing a portfolio of insurance warranty claims, liaising with third party suppliers and policy holders
* Proactive claims management from notification through to settlement
* Investigating and performing basic fraud checks
* Negotiating settlement of claims withinauthority level
* Ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met and maintained
* Ensure full compliance with all internal and external regulations
* Provide support to the Claims Team as and when required and be open to developing knowledge of insurance and handling claims



What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role

* Ideally some previous experience of working in general insurance, customer service, underwriting or legal but not necessarily within claims as training provided
* Excellent computer skillsincluding proficiency with Microsoft applications
* Professional manner
* Effective verbal and written communication, timemanagement, organization skills
* Excellent customer service and telephone manner
* Good written and numeracy skills
* Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft applications
